I know a lot of people are struggling with not being able to celebrate the holidays with their loved ones because of the pandemic. We’re particularly sad that my parents don’t get to take their annual trip to the PNW and attend our Jeffsgiving feast (which will look a lot different this year - porch pickup!).

Read MoreI had heard that Deru Market had a seasonal pumpkin cake and I finally spotted it on their menu this week. I bought a slice yesterday and it’s every bit as big as the last one and even more tasty. The cake is made with local pumpkins and has cream cheese frosting - it’s truly drool worthy.
