March Grilling
/Today marks one year since my version of “normal” came to a halt. One year since the last time I went into the office or saw my LimeMates in person. One year since everything started turning upside down for so many people. I don’t have to say how difficult this has been or how much worse it has felt since the holidays and winter came rolling in. Instead I’ll talk about a little positive we saw this week - March 1st brought us weather fit to grill out on our deck. It seems tiny in an overwhelmingly negative world right now, but it’s exactly what I needed to see that we can keep holding on and that there will be small positives to light our way out of this darkness. It felt so good to stand out on the deck with Jeff as he cooked and then to eat the food with that charcoal grilled flavor. I hope that you are all doing as well as you possibly can and are finding little positives here and there too - they’re so important right now. Sending you all much love!
